well hopefully, here they are, after losing the first lot while UR carried out maintenance today.

its a perc 120 and its been running since march, and i like to think that its going quite well , but ill let you guys be the judge of that.

there are various mods to the tank and ill post pictures of those another time, but at the mo it contains mainly softies and some hards but its early days yet, while im still finding my feet.............hope you like.

how much previous reefing experience have you got prior to this tank. there's a lot of delicates in there if you are new. not impossible to be successful but certainly a challenge.

what size sand grain have you got for those blue cheeks. and dio they eat other foods. i doubt in such a short space of time your sandbed will have enough critters for them to gorge on and if its anything other than sugar-fine. the coarser sand rips their gills apart over time.

also spotted a gonipora in there, very daring :lol:

have to say tho' at the end of the day it does look stunning. hopefully your bioload will be manageable over time. :thumbsup:

hello scoob , thank for the feedback...the goniopora is fine ,quite isolated on the big sceme of things , feeds well and shows excellent colour.

the sand in the tank is sugar fine sand and the blue cheeks ar having no probs sifting it , as one of them is 5-6 inches in length, the granuals dont even touch the sides.

the bioload in the tank is dealt with by 80kg,s of live rock and an upgraded filtration. with the total water turnover of about 20000 litres an hour

ive had about 20 years fish keeping experiance and about 8 years reefing experiance ..


but at the end of the day, all advice is welcome and im glad you liked the tank.

What i would like to know is how your close loop system works? :huh: I mean the details like what size piping and what size holes. :blink: I can c u hav your live rock raised do have a spray bar at the back?
