View Full Version : What Sort Of Mud For An Eco System

Just about to set my new system up and was wanting some opinions on what 'Mud' to use, what advantages are there to one sort or another short and long term ? Im just confused by too much choice I guess :blink:

I havent used any but im leaning towards, kent bio sediment or aragmax

i use araga max ...not mud , as the mud makes one hell of a mess when its added , the araga max is a very very fine sand ...............

Just set mine up with Caribsea Mineral Mud covered by a layer of Aragamax... My old system was Aragamud, but I thought I'd try something different this time...

I have got all three of these in mine, in layers. I haven't used Miracle Mud simply due to the price of it. However, if it were all the same price, I'm sure that is what I would have used!
