Hi,
I run mine at pH 6.4 - 6.6, and also on a timer.
The Co2 solenoid is controlled by the pH computer to within the leves stated, and I run it on a peristaltic for 4 X 2 hour periods (in 24).
That way I can increase the time periods rather than drop the pH......I am gradually adjusting the timer, but I have only had this running for a while, and it seemed a good starting point.
cheers
Bob
just over ph 6 i find works best in my deltec
the way to set it up 6.2 to 6.6ph at the lowest and then get ur drip rate adjust to ur tank to much flow more gas needed to break down the hydrocarbonate make sure ur kh is up between 8 to 12 dkh and then check ur calcium levels if ur using a RO top up make sure to buffer it a little so u dont dilute ur kh and remember every tank is different due to stocking levels good luck :) brioc
Hi Kev
Mine is running at 6.48 and seems to be ok I was told it starts to disolve at 6.5
I Havn't tested for months but coral growth seems to be good.
Main tank ph seems to hover around 8.2ish.
Happy Reefkeeping :D

HI
For high usage this really takes a pH of about 6-6.1 to get it going.

Thanks all for your comments.
I am finding that Jez is on the button. I have tried at 6.5 and got no where.
Dropped to 6.2/6.3 and it started to melt. Thats about 30 dKH on the effluent.
I have now dropped to 6.0/6.1 and will let you know the results.
