they all go down the glass section into the cabinet below, bit difficult tho,i think i ended up cutting the plugs off most and putting the cable down then plugs back on.
there more designed for the european market and there plugs are smaller.

Hi,

Unfortunately it seems to be an oversight by Aqua Medic as the hole is designed for the German (European Type) Plugs and not our bulky british type.

I'm afraid you will have to cut them off and fit new ones.

by far the easiest way is to cut the plugs off they can be squeezed through the hole but with your head in the cupboard its damn tight

Problem is thought is that if you cut the plugs off and then it turns out that the equipment is faulty then you wont be covered by the warranty

It is possible to trim the rubber 'wings' off the plugs so that they will fit down the glass hole. They need to be trimmed to 42mm.

If it goes wrong or doesn't look safe then just chop the plug off and fit a new one - nothing lost by trying.

The easiest way I found around the problem was as follows.

Tank needs to be empty.
Then line up the hole in the tank and cabinet.

Put all electrics in place, all plugs will now go through.

Line up the tank on thestand.

Fill with water, start to use etc.

Worked for me, didn't trim or cut one plug / cable. Also have additional equipment through the hole, 2 x streams, auto top up etc.
