just remove the frag and give it a good rinse with RO water then make sure you got a very good water flow around the acro
also use your test kit to see if your phosphate are too high
hope this help

just remove the frag and give it a good rinse with RO water ? rinse in RO Water? first time I have heard this advice just wanted to make sure it is correct

I would just move it in front of the stream of a powerhead to blow the algy away and then put it back in a high flow area.

most SPS corals are very hardy and few minures out of the water won't affect them
in some shallow reef areas the corals are exposed to the air during the day
