Hi Rob,

I'm looking to replace the T5 bulbs in my 4ft arcadia luminaires. 2nd one is on it's way soon therefore will probably be looking for 6 new tubes.

reason for the replacement is that i don't really like the look of the arcadia marine whites (allegedly 14k)... and have heard a lot of good reviews about the D&D aquablue plus lights as the main white lights and may keep the 2 arcacdia actinics (not decided yet).

Do you stock these tubes ? also, have you had any experience with these and how would you rate them Vs the arcadia ones??

Many thanks,
Paul

Paul , just to give an idea this is a picture of my tank with 1 deltec aquablue and 1 aquamedic actinic which I really rate.

I have 2 more aquablues aswell but as my rock is curing i just light the 2 tubes.

Thanks Rob & Maestro,

I'm thinking of going with the following..

8 T5 tubes in total...

2x actinic (possibly arcadia actinic) are there massive differences between actinics anyway ??
4x aquablue (d&d - think these are a split of 22k & 6k)?
1x arcadia marine white (alledgedly 14k)
1x narva bio marine white (6k)

or losing the arcadia marine white & using 2 narva 6k's instead ?

Any thoughts ?

Many thanks,
Paul

imo stick with the d&d tubes, i like the aquablues, maybe add a pure in there for extra umph but not much light and actinic + are very good and midday for growth! combination of the above will give u plenty of light and a good look....
