Hi
Im abit confused about the reeflux lamp. Reeflux supposed to represent the true color of a 10k. So what is the 12k reeflux lamp? Had it supposed to be a true 12k lamp?
I can find info on the 10k The Coralvue Reeflux 10.000K is a rather interesting lamp, which should have a more appealing look given that it has the large spike at 452 nm which is typical of the 20.000K lamps but has additional peaks at 534, 588 and 670 nm which should help in whitening the appearance of the lamp.
Is there any info on the 12k lamps?

Hi
The 12k is a new lamp to be produced in addition to the very popular (in America) 10k Reeflux. I will obtain the info and post when available.

Hi
The ReefLux 12,000k lamp is a true 12,000k.

Dear Rob,
If you start carrying the new Reeflux 12K bulbs how much actinic would you suggest using, because these would err on the blue side wouldn't they?
I have read that the 10K is true white so i am assuming that you would use quite a lot with those bulbs, as the BLV tend to be on the yellow side.
Also if they are a true 10k or 12k are the other bulbs manufactured rounded up in terms of their kelvin output?
All the best Paul

Hi,
The ReefLux lamp is produced as a 'Deluxe' version of the Coralvue lamp.
The choice of make and type of marine lamp is increasing in the UK which is good for the consumer. Untill we test and photograph each lamp under identical conditions so comparisons can be made cannot offer any further info at this stage.
This does not answer your question i know but please be patient untill all of our testing is complete. They are very popular in the USA so we thought we would offer Coralvue/Reeflux as an alternative to our current range of BLV, Iwasaki, and Radium all at prices and service we hope you will be pleased with.
