Are these the non pulsing variety?

Also regarding colour, its hard to tell, are they a solid blue colour?

Hi mate, thats right Cespitularia do not pulse.
The colour runs from a deep blue (deeper than that in the pic) especially when the polyps are retracted to a lighter blue and purple. The pic looks like it is taken under actinics but it's not, thats under 50:50 T5's, the blue shows up well on the black background.
There is also a slight hint of gold/beige in them. It seems like the blue is stronger under lower light intensity. The picture also does not show the sparkling effect that the coral has on it's surface.

Thanks reefworks, I plan to come over and pick some corals out and a orchid dottyback within the next few weeks, Id just savign up some funds!

You can see see sparklign effect a little, its a shame it doesnt pulse but ive heard that the true pulsing blue xenia are almost impossible to get hold off!

the coral which we spoke about some weeks ago (clove?) is now doing well & will soon begin to spread. At that stage I will contact you & if you wish I can send you some.May take a while yet, but it's on the way.
