agreed! :(
i'd try to intervene - i.e. try to move the LPS' out of the way and hope the nem moves.
one of my bta's stretched up and touched the lower branches of my frogspawn and the next day the polyps died off (gutted :( ) so i'd suggest the nem will do the damage to the lps although in the pic the nem doesn't look good at all
ive managed to seperate them for a bit,can they recover from stings?

you might find the lps gets a brown jelly expelled and then it'll lose the polyps from the heads the nem has stung...that's what happened to mine when the nem stretched up and stung it :(
the nem has got signs of being stung do you know if it can recover?the lps seem fine
do you think a dose of melafix is a good idea or should i just wait and see?
try giving it a small feed of a bit of prawn or squid. this may help.
My nem and my E.paradivisa had a bit of a ruck a while back... the nem ended up with a patch of withered tentacles for a week and the euphillia ended up with one of the heads bleaching, lost loads of colour and woulfdnt expand prpoerly for almost a month... the nem has settled higher up the tank now and the euphillia made a full recovery
