View Full Version : Sping Water
Hi , Today I took a walk through the malvern hills which is almost on my door step. While walking came across loads of people collecting the natural spring water which poors freely from several spots around the area.Just a thought but could I use this in place of ro water as its renown for being the most pure water in the country. Would like your thoughts on this please.
:thanx: John
Not an expert on water but the first thing I would do is see if there are any tests that have already been caried out on the water and then if you fancy it take some home and test it your self

Youd need to know what the mineral content is and the likelyhood of the water table comming into contact with any industrial contamination or agricultural run off to be safe imo.
But taking into account the cost of collection (petrol etc) then gallon for gallon its debatable as to wether it would be any more financially viable than an RO unit. Only you can really decide this.

Si.

I have tried the Malvern spring and found it problematic,
problem algae blooms etc. reverted back to ro and very quickly resolved issues
