Hello Mate

I have a pair of Reidii which mated a couple of days ago. The males pouch is quite swollen and gradually getting bigger. Expecting the offspring in about 3 weeks. I have a small tank that I am cultivating copepods & rotifers in and will probably transfer some of the fry to this. The rest will have to take their chance in the parents tank.

It will be my first attempt at it but am going to try my hardest to raise some of them when they arrive.

Cheers Phil.

HI
Reiidi are about as difficult as it gets with seahorses , you will need copious well fortified rotifers to get started and even then there is no gaurantee that without the correct nutrient profile in the rotifers that they will not keel over at day 7.

Worth talking to somebody on seahorse.org who has completed Reidi with good results as they are not the seahorse to just have a dabble with.
