Yep, undergravel removed after umming and arring. I've bought a prizm skimmer of Hermie (member on here) with the intection of using it on this tank. There are two powerheads in there directed through the liverock and the flow seems to bounce around the tank nicely. I'm happy.

Heres some advice for ya ...slow down.. IMHO you have stocked that tank waaay too fast

Is that a condy (or could be a BTA)... if it is tank is much too small for it... the tank aint mature enough for it.. you dont have the light for it...

oh and it is verry unlikely your clowns will host it if it is a condy...

I'm personally well chuffed with the results, added a B&Q mini-fan and also added a Ph Probe with display thing. Anyway, what do you think?

Thanks for the comments :)

Goby is doing well, likes to sit on the zoo's or on top of the heater or a rock, lovely little fellow. Ive had a move round of the rockwork to accomodate another powerhead. There are now 3 in there, one pointing stright out the middle and the other 2 on either side pushing out water left and right. Ive tried to hide them as best as i can. Have a look

Thanks for the reply Chris, by the way the tank looks great.
Hard to tell on the photograph, but does the 20K Coralview give of a realy "blue" light? and how are you finding the evaporation under the 150,

regards,

Peter.

Publican
17-07-06, 19:17
The Coralview 20k gives a blue tint, nothing overly blue if that makes sense! Evaporation is currently about a litre a day and thats with one B&Q fan running 24/7

No major problems to be honest. Fan kept the temp in check for the most part, did see 84 one day though. Livestock seem unaffected

Nice, I want to re-scape my nano, its being taken over by the sarco.

It looks like you have added a couple of gadgets, the pipe on the left hand side and the thing in the middle back.

If its a skimmer, what type is it, any good, I'm looking for a small skimmer for my system but can't find one that fits.

Publican
14-08-06, 19:25
Its not a skimmer, tis just a hang on the back type multi filter. The pipe you can see on the left is the inlet pipe and the thing in the middle is the return which is like a waterfall type thing. Its an Aqua-Vital AVHO600 bought off ebay for around £20. Does the job.

Chris

Publican
14-08-06, 19:27
I should add i didnt bother with a skimmer, i just change around 10% of the water weekly, seems to be ok. I have 4 small fish and they seem fine
