Lots of potential there :) you need to think about some cooling as the water will get too hot in the summer with that halide.
What do you think of the skimmer, is it quiet?
Not sure if you know but, you have bubbles from the seio because the venturi (blue tube) is exposed
i sold my STM nano about 2 years ago, and have seriously regretted it ever since. they are great little tanks.
mine ran for atleast 2 years, and got me seriously hooked on marines. mine ran through various stages from a mushroom garden to an SPS nano. temp was always on the high side, and evap was just as bad. but i think i was lucky having the tank in a cool hallway.
looking good

if possible remove the pump, use some "gel" superglue to seal off the blue input for the venturi.
I had to do this on some old aquaclear 4000's to stop bubbles shutting off the venturi was not suffecient to stop all the bubbles so i had to resort to the gel glue.
Thanks guys it's still work in progress but its a start and it being so small i dont want to stock to soon, as for the pump many thanks its driving me mad i have used the hang on clip as the suckers and tunze look was huge i'll try the super glue
all the best

or you could simple put a piece of airline in the venturi inlet, attach an inline tap and shut it off?
no more bubbles all sorted and will post some more pics soon :)
Tank is looking great!
As MrFish said, how are you finding the skimmer? Is it quiet? Not many people seem to have them.
the skimmer started to pull after about 3 days but saying that i only have the 2 clarks and a clean up crew, Quite yer the pump is non existant ( sound wise ) and the only noise you do here is a little burble from the skimmer cup as its ringed with holes, but my wife has said when the front room is finnished we can put it in there !!!! so it must be good other wise she would'nt even dream about saying that so summing up yer a good little skimmer and put up against the likes off the deltec twins (Mc500 & Mce600) or prizim ect good value too steve at coralgarden still had a few and was by far the cheapest, dam good service too
We only have a few tanks kicking left.
I'm sure we could put a kit together, sadly the little compact m/h's are no longer available.
perhaps pop in, and se what we can do.
Regards
STM
