is there a way to set the sockets up to only come on if say to things are met not just one.

i have a fan on the halide that blows under it to keep the warm air away but as you can imagine this is only any use when the halide is on. so i wand the fan to come on if the temps raise and only the same time the halide is on etc if that makes sense

so for example 27deg on the temp side and only come on at 14:00-21:00 etc

i've set but programs up but the temp one from what i could tell was always taking over is it was out the timer section but the fans were on :(

thanks in advance

Unfortuantly I dont think so, I wanted to do this with my Ozone so it was only used at night and when the orp level was too low. But I never found a solution :(

thats crapped it then.

thought about using a plug in timer, kinda defeats the oject of the unit i know but then they ont turn unless the power is on. unless i put an electronic one in with battery back up but then there to big to go in the unit unless i then put it on an extension lead but thats more leads and cables everywhere :(and how long would the batteries last in the unit when it wasn't powered up and are they even rechargeable in the units!

I have a mpalin timer and it has been unplugged for about 3 months now and it is still going strong :)

I think aquatronica need to change the design slightly so this type of thing can be done :(

yeah would be great if they would make it so more than one thing needed to be on for it to work. like on a calc reactor you only run them for some of the time on smaller tanks well the co2 so would be good if you could use the timer for a set time then the ph probe if the ph is at the set level etc
