If so, what type of cable do you use to connect the thing to your PC? The manual says data/serial cable, but it doesn't look like any serial cable we have in the states. It's a round connection whereas the serial cables in the US are trapezoidal in shape. Not to mention I don't even have serial ports on any of computers now anyways, but that's a different problem....

Thanks in advance.

If your in america you could always get a pci card to add seriel ports to your pc

I know its a pita as these days most pc's dont come with these ports

it's not the serial to usb adapter problem. It's the what the heck kind of port is on the IKS. It doesn't look like a 9 pin or 25 pin serial port to me. I can't find a cable that'll fit in the thing in a computer store here.

I dont have one but it is probably a special cable you need to get from the people that make the IKS.

yes its specific to the IKS, called simply a data cable, and should be available from most IKS retailers.

i have one, and i extended it with a standard pc cable as my pc is about a 15 foot run from the tank.
