anyone have a clue how to get this thing working, I have a module with a pump and a float switch attached, plus a few power connectors in the back, do I just plug it in or do I need a computer to run it?

cheers all

which one have you got ?? as i remember system 2000 didnt do an auto top off with a feed pump..

I bought one and the float switch controlled a soloniod, it was designed to be plumbed into an RO feed,or a gravity fed system.

I popped mine open and soldered a a wireand plug socket in instead of the solenoid, now when the float switch drops it turns on the plug, which starts the feed pump... hope that makes sense

The one i had you just plged the pump into the back of the box and the float switch turned it on and off, Very simple!

Mine worked the same way as Tristan's, plug and go.

I think the Tunze Osmolator was a better system but then not sure if it os more expensive than the system 2000.

Useless comment I know but hey, thats my speciality!

Keep an eye on it, Mine worked fine for a month then it over filled the tank on 3 or 4 ocasions.

they are crap, I now run it on my aquatronica.

I think the problem is the float switch, quite a few people had had problems with them.
