Had my first SPS "bleach" overnight.
I have 5 acro's 2 monti digi's and 4 plating monti's.
1 blue tipped acro has never been "right". firstly it had a number of yellow/golden furry acro crabs that severly damaged the polyps to a degree that entire sections had smoothed over.
when removing the crabs i noticed that the aquaculture farm had covered sections with resin of glue where the skeleton was exposed at the base. I think this has prevented the coral from healing.
I fragged the coral over the weekend, but all the frags have bleached. one is still extending polyps but it doesnt look good. sad day :(
