Hi

I have a 18" fan on a stand next to my tank that blows accross the surface of my water and my halide.

This is plugged into my Aquatronica and set to come on at 80f the problem I,m having is that when my water gets to 80f the fan is constantly kicking in and out

is there any way I can proggy it to come on at 80f and go off at lets say 79f

Cheers
Craig

You can set the hysteresis when you program the socket
Set delta, (the triangle symbol) to 0.5 degrees and it should work fine

Delta Max.
The fan will come on at Ref Temp + Delta max and turn off again at Ref Temp. I find a Delta Max of 0.2c works well, but it depends whether you prefer the fan on for long periods or shorter bursts ;)
