Blimey its all go at the moment.

Advanced notice that over the next few weeks you will see some forum changes.

Number one.....the Advanced section is going...to be replaced by more specific forums.

We will of course leave the advanced section in place until we have moved threads to their new homes.

Sounds good. Any gen on what the new sections are going to be? Or would you like suggestions? E.g. some people have asked for a FO forum....

No FO forum yet, but the changes are in place and we are fast moving threads to their new homes.

Well we'll see, we can remove forums if they dont work.

For example the Nano forum is because a few have asked, if it get used then it'll stay, if not then its gone.

We're trying our best guys.

I know some of this is big changes but hopefully it will encourage some of the Experts back.

We dont want to add any more forums at present but are open to ideas, indeed we want feedback.

Sorry - only just worked out this change when my thread got moved. If we split the issues up like this with only a limited readership aren't we going to end up with everyone reading the general reefs section and no-one bothering with any of the sections in 'The Zone'? Seems like a great way to get certain types of questions thoroughly ignored...(he said in a bitter tone :) )

Use 'New Posts' or 'Quick links - Todays Posts' to see what is happening across all the forums.
That way you are not limiting your reading to the Reefs forum :)

Thanks Tony - that's cool, didn't know you could do that. But if other people also don't know you can do that then they only end up reading the reef section. This is my experience with other forums like this. Guess only time will tell whether this happens here...
