use 2 x 250w + actinics lights on mine and they seem ok.

If you want to buy a second hand 2 x250w eco plus mine will be for sale soon due to a downsize :rolleyes:

That unit will be fine over a 6fter - its pretty much what we have.

Depends on the bracing as well

Bracing is unusual.

Two huge brace's at either end due to the diagonal corners and a single in the middle.

Looking at how you can move the halide I should be able to straddle the middle brace quite nicely.

I have the triple 250 over my 6ft and it looks awesome. There is very little movement in the Halide lamp due to the covers. I managed to move mine about an inch or so unless I was doing it wrong.

The lamps should move the width of the spacers which on the 2 x halide range looks about 3-4 inches ie. the spacers can go before or after the halide if I remember correctly
