Hi all

Programming temp at the mo, want the tank at 24oC so I have set reference temp to this, then set delta min to 0.2 and delta max to 0.2 also. Just to compare what is everyone else using for delta min/max?

I have set mine to max .05 and min to .02 this seemed to stop the relays clicking in and out all the while

The Delta Min is the temp below Ref Temp when your heater will turn on. It will turn off again at Ref Temp. Delta Max has no effect on a heating control.

The Delta Max is the temp above Ref Temp when your cooling fan (or chiller) will turn on. It will turn off again at Ref Temp. Delta Min has no effect on a cooling control.

I played extra cautious and used two programs so that I could set different Ref Temps and keep heating & cooling well separated, but with small Deltas.

Heating: Ref 26.1 Delta Min 0.1
Cooling: Ref 26.6 Delta Max 0.1
MH lamp override to off: Ref 27.2 Delta max 0.6 (to allow lamp enough time to cool)
Alarm: 28.1

Unused Deltas I set to 0.1
