Hi all,
Currently have 3 40w t5's in the lid of my 60 x 15 x 24" tank & will soon be upgrading to the Arcadia 60" Luminaire with x2 white x2 blue 54W t5's so two questions really:
1) Because the unit sits over the tank,i'm slightly concerned about light pollution.Can the brackets at each end be modified/cut down so the unit sits lower over the tank?
2) Because the light increase is significant,i want to try and avoid an algal bloom.Can i take x1 white & x1 blue tube out of the new unit & run it for a week at half strentgh & introduce the 2nd blue tube on the 2nd week & the 2nd White tube on the 3rd week? there are only 2 switch controls,x1 for both the whites & the other for both the blues.
The only coral in the tank at the mo is a Heliofungia Actiniformis (Long tentacled Plate).Thanks in advance;)
