I have just purchased a second hand IKS System with temp and PH probe.

The PH probe calibrated OK but there is no calibration for the temp sensor. The temp sensor is reading 20 degrees C wheras the other thermometers are all reading around 26 degrees. Is there a a way of checking temp probe or is it faulty.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,
There is no 'official' calibration for the temp probe. I seem to remember a post on here a long time back showing you how to adjust a pot inside the temperature adaptor itself.
Maybe someone else knows about this too?
Cheers,
Gavin :)

Sorry, but I should have posted that I have rectified this problem. The interface was to blame, I purchased a temp probe and interface from a fellow UR member and the interface was at fault.

i dont know what type of probe it is, but i have 2 temp probes, one is like a normal probe and the other is just like a sensor on the end of the wire, i had the same problem when the water got in the end of the wire! I use it to monitor the air temp now!
