wall brackets

anybody suspended a halide unit using heavy duty shelf brackets from say b&q or homebase dont want to spend £30-40 on something from say aquamedic which is pretty much identicle to what can be brought from b&q for a fraction of the cost????????

I have.. i have my series 3 1x250 watt + twin actinics (weighs approc 17 kilos) hung off some B&Q brackets.. they were about 8 quid each
