looks ok but you might want to look at maidenhead aquatics they have a 11watt lamp that you can stick on the back of tank all you do is cut of the black backing where you have your fuge i guess it is the second chamber?

awaiting delivery mate! as most people are...
Paid deposit etc but buying all my kit before i get it otherwise i wont have all the necessaries.

Would rather have the light inside as it is going in my bedrooom so will need to be on 24/7.

However may look into the other one anyway thanks for the info!

Cheers,

Jack

I would be concerned about the quality of the stainless steel (SS) and would enquire about the suitability of it for Saltwater.

Salt water will corrode SS if it is not the correct grade.

PS - I don't know this from experience, only what I have been read.

I have the same light but got it from maplins for £7.99, have been using it on and off for around 10 months without problem. Currently growing cheato fine.

Unfortunately I don't think maplins sell it any more.

Maplin still do them but I wouldn't recommend them for going inside a marine tank due to problems with the metal as dicussed before.
