I'm looking for a fairly small 3'' to 4'' none aggresive wrasse to go in my 6x2x2 reef. Other fish include Yellow tang, Regal tang,Orchid Dottyback, Royal Gramma, pair percula clowns. I have discounted Sixline due to aggresion, and Banana wrasse due to it's overall look. Any one got any ideas.

nice fish about 3-4 inches, very peaceful and always flashing, it's just getting a little big for my seahorses
carpenters are nice as well although prone to carpet surfing as are a lot of wrasses

leopard wrasse.

Not the best survival rate though.

I'd say any flasher, though they may jump :(

Mystery wrasse if you're feeling flush.

I think with wrasses it has alot to do with the individual fish. I had a six line as the second addition to my aquarium about 8 months ago, it pecked my cleanser shrimp to death before I could do anything, wouldnt leave my clown alone then died within the week.

I then got a big outburst of flatworm and had tried everything so I got another six-line, he's as good as gold, nice looking fish and good to watch.
Didn't eat any flatworms tho!

Yep. Really. I had my flasher for several years and he jumped. Lucky I was standing nearby. He landed in a bucket of sand next to the tank. I was able to pop him straight back into the tank. So he was lucky.

He went on to kill all my Lyre Tail Antias. I think because of the similar colouring.

yup conspecific agression is very well documented amongst reef fish
