hi i am setting up a fish only tank with fuzzy dwarf lionfish,i have a d+d 4ft twin t5 unit with no bulbs i was wondering wether to have two blue actinics,two white or one of each,the t5 route is relativley unknown to myself so any tips are greatly welcomed.the tank will have live rock and a sump with dsb the tank is 60x18x15 thanks

If you're not stocking any photosynthetic organisms then the choice of lighting is largely down to your own personal preference - i.e. what you like the look of!

Do you mean your light unit only holds two tubes? If so, I'd be inclined to go for one of each as they generally look good together.

thats what i was thinking one of each just wondered if fish do gain any benfits from the blue t5s as i have read somewhere that it will help fish to have the blue,thanks for your reply

Yep id go for one of each,actinic to help bring the colours out in the fish but also light the tank with a white so you can see them.I tend to go a bit boss eyed staring into an actinic only tank.
