View Full Version : Which Auto topup?

I'm getting really tired of rubbish auto topup systems. So far since having my AM Perc, i've tried a deltec RUW12LVP which it turned out could not produce the required head to move water from the lower cabinet on the perc to the return section. I then tried the peri pump method and got the AM system. This was ok for a few months, then the tubing goes stiff and the thing starts clicking and stops dripping. So you replace the tubing and away you go for another month or two, then it's back to noise and clicking again, absolute rubbish.

What really is the best system around? At this point i'm not bothered if it's a peri or a pump as long as the damb thing works!

try the tunze or aquamaster with a decent peri (WM)

i am about to buy the tunze - seems a good setup.

as for a peri - buy a decent one! more so in a perc as a split pipe isnt going to drain anywhere but over your floor!

Going to buy the deltec one, for two reasons, they are well made and the cheapest reliable kit,

Tunze osomolator IS the most reliable; do a search you'll make me right ;)

Had a Tunze fail twice. Since replaced it with the Deltec and all is well. :) fingers crossed!!
