can anyone help
my misses favourit fish is the copperbanded butterfly. i tried many larger 1`s in my main tank but ended up returning them after 48hours as i could never get them to feed.
any of you that have read my post will know that she also has a passion for sea horses and we added the timid tank to the system a seperate tank run off the same sump as the main tank for fish and inverts that are timid feeders i.e copperbanded/manderin.seahorses
i filled the tank with live rock and sand from my main tank and other ur members mature tanks. left for a long time. my lfs got a small copperbanded from tmc and i took itbefor it had left the bag, thinking this might make a less stress full transfer rather than in a bag out a bag and so on.
got him home and let him settle for 12 hours and he was feeding better than i could ever imagine he was even atacking the feeder. tonight we came home and he had passed and my poor wife is devastated i have just done 2 water tests and all is perfect. i know these are sometimes said hard to keep but he was doing so well and i just can`t understand it i realy thought we were in the clear he had been feeding twice a day now for 2-3 mounths
is there anyone out there who is as fond of them as we but more knowledgeable if so please could you inlighten us into why this could of happened
thanks tony
o he was in the tank with a red scooter only
