well i am sure you have all seen zippy posting comments on here :D , well finaly i managed to convince him to put his tank on here :rolleyes: .

At zippy's request i have agreed to post the pics for him :cool:

as far as i can remember it is 7.6ft x 30 x30 :D

i am sure zippy will drop by on the thread and confirm this :rolleyes:

i must admitt i have never seen such fat fish :eek:

Cracking tank gaz!! The fish in zippy's tank are some of the most healthy, well fed fish I've ever seen! I know zippy is very proud of his home made "marine formula" ;) .....patent pending lol

I've never know any of his fish to have any disease's or look skinny. I've known gaz for a fair few years now and he hasn't lost a single fish in that time. His majestic was bought as a little nipper years ago and has grown into a truly stunning fish along with the anthia's, purple tang etc etc.

hi all

the tank is 84x30x24 (lxhxd) i wouldn't have put this on here as i didn't think it was good enough!
if the spec is what you want its as follows
kalc stirrer on 5 x 45mins per night 1am 2 am 3am 4am 5am
deltec calcium reactor on slow 24-7
tunze fillter--- 5x pre fillters 7 x bio fillters
2x tunze 4000ltrs return pumps
2 x tunze skimmers one 245 and one 235 soon to be replaced by a home made skimmer ;)
culerper tank 20x20x20 run by tunze pump
2x 6100
2 x 6060
live rock lots
tunze auto top up
arcadia mk3 3 x 150
1x 80 watt t5
deltec 509 fluidiser for phosphate remover

nitrate= 50 ??
nitrite=0
phosphate =0
mag=1360
ph=8.2
calcium=520 hum!
temp = dont matter slowly up slowly down


the tank is run by 2x 4000ltr tunze pumps going down a 1" overflow in the left hand corner there is a over flow in right hand corner just for emergencey use
the tank can not over flow or neither can the sump run dry

he started to change about a year ago very slow!! but he's getting there
ive seen adults smaller than him
