pretty sure that skunks host in heteractis magnifica anemones in the wild, however these are amongst the most demanding anemones available to the hobbiest. there are some great success stories out there and i know a couple of tanks local to me that have 2 very large ones thriving but on the whole, at least 95% don't make it through their first year :(

Heteractis magnifica, Macrodactyla doreensis, Heteractis crispa and Stichodactyla gigantea. Google each one and have a look at the care requirements and typical life expectancy in captivity.

A month is nothing! I assume this is a LFS you are referring to? They don't expect to keep anything in their tanks long term - usually some unsuspecting punter has taken the thing home before it dies. I really do believe that anemones such as this should be left in the ocean. JMHO.

Macrodactyla doreensis,

In my opinion this would be your best bet;).

they normally reside in heteractis magnifica, heteractis crispa and stichodactyla gigantea these are their main ones.all of these are difficult to keep as they need strong lighting and two of them need strong water movement as well.derek
