View Full Version : Red Fish
I'm stocking a 5 x 2 x 2 FOWLR and am looking for a red fish or fishes that will be active and free swimming;)
I have looked at Flame angel - nice though expensive, scarlet hawkfish - not free swimming, filamented flasher wrasse - never seen one perhaps 2 off
Any other ideas and availabilty would be greatly appreciated.:)
Current stocking - small bursa trigger, yellow tang, juvenile emporer and blue spotted puffer - all juveniles.
Dianas hogfish Col. A nice blood red colour and will suit a FO system. ;)
Click on my link to see a pic:)
djb1971,
Nice fish Bodianus Diana ??
Scott Michaels says it will get to 9.8 "
How big is yours ?.................fish I mean :o
Does it bury in sand at night or curl up in the rocks ?
Any idea of cost and availability ??
Sorry for all the questions I'm just trying to plan carefully ahead:)
Mine's about 7-8":p
Availablity - god only knows:D
Hides in the rocks at night;)
Cost:confused:
They are a brownish colour when young but still have the distinctive spots and turn into a gorgeous multicoloured fish - blues/golds/reds. The red doesn't show on the pic too well but it's a really deep blood red;)
Sounds excellent !!
I'll have a look round and see what I can find. But as usual I may need to look South of the border
You don't mean.............
over and past THE WALL:D
Don't worry col, they've gone past the stage of putting your heads on sticks. I think they'd rather have your money:D:D:p
But after they took all our sheep......................we only go over and raid for fish at night:p
Know any late night LFS ??
