my tank 24x15x12, if i was to use this as a sump ,

and buy a new one and get it drilled at the same time,

what size hole would be needed ,
tank conector,
pipe size,
and finaly

what size pump and pipe to return the water to the tank.

you need to find what fittings you want to use first different manufacturers use different ones. Best bet is to go to a plumbing shop and explain what you want and they will help you.

There is no one size to use.

Or look on the net and bull all from one place then when you have it you can measure better to do it that way and get it right mate

All dependant on how much lph you want to leave the tank.
What kind of flow do you want through your sump?

thinking of may be doing sps,so will have to re think size and pipes any thoughts

how 32mm t.c and 25mm in and or3500 as the pump or would that be too fast for this size tank
