Acan spawning?

ok i took this about 30 mins ago, i think it might be the acan spawning but cant seem to find anything about it on the net, they are broadcast spawners and it seems to be fine now its stopped.
anyway what do you think?

Looks like eggs to me so I guess you have a female Acan.
Have only seen programs like blue planet where they show mass spawning occurring at one particular time/night of the year.
