claire have you got a hospital tank? i.e. small tank seperate from you main system. set one up with a small filter and water from main aquarium
Sounds to me as if whitespot, is he breathing rapidly? Are the spots dusty or are they like heavy grains of salt??

Hello Horse
His whole body is white. NO spots he has changed colour, no rapid breathing and he's swimming around fine. my regal has had white spot before, so I know what it looks like, I can ask my lfs to have him but if it is white spot then he could die from the stress of moving. Thanks for the info. C

The diet of the Bicolor Blenny should include vegetable matter, including frozen and dried foods containing marine and blue-green algae. It will also feed on (and help control) algae growing in the aquarium.
How long have you had it & how big is it? Is it acting completely normally ie is it being bullied and/or does it still have access to its bolt hole?
I'm sure you know they go paler with white tiger stripes when they feel threatened & when sleeping(quite normal), here's mine at night for reference:

All white is very unlikely to be white spot.
It sounds rather odd, it could be nervous damage which has had an effect on the chromatophores (although fish suffering from this tend to go dark). It could be Amyloodinium or brooklynella but if it is behaving normally and eating then the latter two are unlikely as well.
any chance of a photo?
