Anyone experienced this before? I have a bright green staghorn with blue tips. Overnight the blue tips have literally fallen off (or disintegrated) leaving the tips almost although they have been chopped off with a pair of pliers. The rest of the coral is fine but doesn't look quite the same without the blue tips.

None of my parameters have changed and all are fine except for a constant nitrate reading of 20ppm. This has always been present and has not suddenly fluctuated.

Ill get a photo over the weekend. No i dont have a regal. The coral itself has probably doubled in size from when I first got it and nothing else has changed.

No regal tangs have a tendency to frag your corals for you by breaking off branches and move stuff around

Sorry to jump in - I've got a similar problem. The only thing I can think of with mine is that I've started dosing Fauna Marin ULTRA MINs and ULTRA BAK, and I started dosing too high. The Fauna Marin guy at the STM meet yesterday was saying start with 10% of the recommended dosage and I started with about 50%..... Also my phosphate had risen to 0.03, so I changed the phosphate madia in my fluidiser and the next day is was 0. Apparently the sudden change (even though it's a good change) can be harmful to corals.

The tip on the far right is most noticable. I think (hope) it will just grow back.
