I hear that greenbanded gobies (Elacatinius multifasciatus) often spawn in captivity - has anyone managed to raise any - I'm after some.

I had okinawe gobies that spawned regularly, I didn't try to raise the fry though. A fascinating fish that was a bit destructive to sps but well worth the sacrifice

Looks like my chances of getting any of those gobies in the UK are quite slim though...

Taunton Aquarium Centre had a few last time I was in (a couple of weeks ago?). Called them "Christmas Island Gobies"(????) and wanted £20 each. Worth their weight in gold (literally)!!

£20 each! - flippin eck, might just go for a single green clown goby actually.

reef aquatics in chichester had a couple in a few weeks back.. dont know if they still have em...

dang.. too far for me mate. Sounds like they might be obtainable though!
