You say that your goby and shrimp have not linked up yet. Not all pistol shrimps live with gobies (and not all gobies live with pistols) and even if they are both of co-habiting types, a pistol may not link up with any type of goby. So even in a small tank they may not take to each other.

Best to buy as a pair, or get a positive id and ensure the species are definitely compatible.

That said I think a small shrimp/goby partnership is ideal for such a nano!!

Guess theyve imported direct Is the aquamedic one based on the JBL cube I think, but with skimmer and fuge light.

My cube with 14kg rock has nett capacity of 68 litres

That looks like a great little nano tank. very clean looking. Two questions, what is the filter? and how much? if you don't mind me asking ;-)

under 60 and filter looks like a skimmer ie hangs on edge and has 2 bits of 'songe'- filter bits thats as technical as i can get!!

Don't know if you where at the meet on Saturday?

I got a '30'; but I'm not setting up until December - it's for my son - or that's what I've told the wife!

The rep on Sat. suggested taking the sponge out of the filter and adding some polyfilter. Also he suggested if needs be, get another filter box, and add a small bag of phosban, and maybe some Charcoal as well. To help the filtration.

The Wave tanks do look great. Especially bundled up with the lid, light and filter. For anyone interested they have one on the counter setup, so you can see one in action.

I'm keen to know how you get on, so keep us updated.

Hang on filters looked great running going to put some mineral mud and macro algie in one.
Just got an extra to double the flow and maybe grow something to draw out the nitrate.
Looks like a great product have hidden mine us ontill after I've come back after a holiday.
Going to watch this thread with interest.

make sure that you have the correct light for marine 1 blue 1 white as i had to go back and get correwct light
