Have you read this article? Lots of good information here:

You need a stable, well maintained tank to successfully keep any kind of anemone. Probably the safest option is a tank-bred Bubbletip Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor) which by no means "easy" to keep, at least have a reasonable record of being kept successfully in closed systems.

PS - Forgot to add, make sure any powerheads, Streams, pumps, etc. cannot suck the anemone in and chop it up. This is sadly an all too common occurrence.

hi, its not advisable to keep any anemones in a reef tank, because if they are not happy with water flow or light they will move all over your tank stinging everthing in its path.if you are still going to put one in your tank the best one would be a bubble tip.derek

very good info worth whilst sticking to that, what i would add is dont fall for large specimens its just more likely to wipeout the tank if you dont have any joy with it. get a small specimen and grow it up
