HI,
I had to remove three rocks of polyps into my sump a few months ago. Whilst in the sump under a compact t5 (about 400mm away) light all three opened up no problems.
Since moving them back into the main tank two of the rocks have not opened at all despite trying various locations , flow light intensity etc.
I have a number of polyp rocks in the same location that are open in there full glory, including the third one that I transferred back into the main tank.
Main tank is 650mm deep and lit by a series 3 2 x 150w halide rocks were put on the bottom of the tank first in a shaded area to avoid light shock.
Any ideas ?
Mark
