What? Eh? Wrong forum!?!?

Anyone have any experience keeping mollies in s/w? Seen a few threads on RC where peeps report the mollies doing a good job on various types of alge.

I was also thinking that if you could get them to spawn, (as mollies do) might be an ideal addition to the tank food?

All that said, i hate mollies, they bore me silly (along with guppies) i would never have any when i was a freshy and i probs wouldn't have any now :D

Fantastic grazers in fact.and they colour up better in full sea water... I think the only reason they've never caught on is simply that they arnt naturally marine, so allways look kind of out of place with marine fish around, especially reef fish.

IMHE they do very well, I use them to keep my QT tank ticking over

but as a live feed goes that's on my unethical list

I've seen them in the sea off in Louisiana and doing very well, apparently fish farm escapes

I have a molly in my planted tank, if I were to move it to the reef what would be the best method? Slow SG increase over a couple of weeks in a spare tank or something dramatic and see what happens?
