Onyx Clowns Spawning Video

This first is a video of my pair of Wild Australian Percs (Onyx Clowns). The male is cleaning the site, amongst my red Sea Pulsing Xenia, and then the female inspects it. You can see that she is so full of eggs, they are starting to pop out!

The male is now left to it to look after the eggs and keep everywhere clean and tidy!

Great video,, mine too have been at this over and over again for 12 months, they never stray any further than 12" away from the coral.

beautiful healthy looking fish Phil - how big are they roughly?

Female is about 3,5" I suppose and the male about 3". I also have another male that is a bit smaller and hangs about on the periphery.

I bought them 18 months agao. They used to be belong to Craigg when he had his old tank.

I have toyed with putting in a tile and trying to raise the fry in my spare tank, but it's a lot of time and effort. One day maybe I will. It would be nice if I could get that standard of fish to adulthood to share!
