Dear all,

Purchased a fairy wrasse last week, it was sold as 'Jade Wrasse' but I think it is possible an Exquisite Wrasse. I have tried numerous times to photo it, but it's either in the rocks or zooming about and so I just end up with blurry photos. It has a bright blue belly, with bright red/pink top half and eyes, which fade into bright orange towards the tail.
I haven't been able to find an exact match in the net.

My question is this: It is taking a serious interest in my clowns, just displaying but still intimidating them. To stop this should I try adding another type of wrasse, so they've got something else to keep them occupied? I have a yellow tail damsel and a couple of gobies in the tank, they are all relatively well behaved.

If it is an exquisite, IME, they are quite aggressive towards fish of its genius. In my tank, I have one female exquisite fairy, a pair of solar fairies, a radiant wrasse and a cleaner wrasse. My exquisite constantly goes after the solars, especially during actinic lights, but not any other fish.

I dont know what you can really do to ease the situation, if adding another fairy, it will perhaps mean adding stress to a newly added fish and existing stock.
