;) Just wanted to say many thanks for the copepods which arrived today and for your very, very efficient service.

Could you please advise as this is the first time I have bought copepods (I ordered two lots). One lot has gone direct into the main tank but the other one I would like to cultivate. They're currently in a very large and deep glass pyrex dish (@3 to 4 litres) with water from the main tank and a flouresant tank light. I could set up my spare tank which is @ 15gallons. Would this be necessary? Can you explain the airline (recommended) to me. Is this just a piece of tubing?

Apologies for what are probably 'doh' questions!

Sal.

Hi Sal, the pyrex dish will be fine. You would have been better to use new salt water as you may have introduced contaminants from your tank but it may well be ok.
The airline refers to a flexible piece of 6mm tubing that you connect to an airpump to aerate the water.
