Been watching it over the last week or so increase in size, it is raised but it is the only mark on him. Had him for a month and when first introduced fought feircly with blue throat trigger.

All calm now in tank and he is boss but any advice on how to proceed with cyst?

Don't worry about it mate it will soon go ,had the same thing on a copperband once took a while but it did clear up.

I had one on my purple tang and it got bigger then gradually went away.

strange looking thing, is it actually a cyst or has it scratched itself on some rock, tankgs are prone for that.

It is on his fin and is growing so must be a cyst, slighlt resembles a cauliflower but no cheese.

That lump sounds & looks very much like lymphocystis a fish virus. It is usally self resolving causing little harm, but it can take several months to go
