Do Nems regenerate tentacles?

Hi everyone,
As per the title really...just picked up a nem that has seen better days, has damage half way up some of its tentacles. Will these grow again once the dead pieces have seperated completely?

Potentially, yes (if in good health and placed in a suitable environment). When a nem splits/divides, just look at how quick they can grow ;)

yes they can regrow providing the water quality is good and not to much damage.i had a heteractis magnifica which had been sucked into a small powerhead,it took a good two months before it recovered and did not suffer any permanent damage.i learned a lesson from this never keep anemones in tanks with powerheads a disaster just waiting to happen.derek
