OK while out today looking round at my LFS I managed to find a D&D 24 Gallon Nano tank without the hood, but everything else, for £20!!!!!!! (hood was smashed during delivery)

I know how could I leave it at that price!

So now the new project starts.

What I am planning to do is create a unique reef with tons and tons of chaotic circulation in the way of a closed loop system running round the base with outlets in each corner and a sprinkle bar system under the reef. So in theory I will not need any powerheads.

I have been looking at getting a new hood from nano tuners in the US. What I would like is combination of T5's and a Halide, but I need to get some quotes first.

Ben

Has anyone bought upgrades from Nano Tuners before?

I know trhat a fella in London has a viper for sale on the for sale section of this site. That would solve your problems!

I have also seen an aqua one halide with 2X18w on another for aquatics sale site that would fit nicely especially as it comes with legs?

I was a little concerned about the Viper as I have heard bad reports. However the MK2 are out now. They are approximately 92 squid from the US.

Where did you see the other light?

cheers

Indeed it is, well done. If you can hang a pendant (or make some form of bracket) I can highly recommend the Arcadia 40cm Mini 150W 14,000K. The perfect size for a Nano24.
