Euphyllia reproducing

my hammer coral has been splitting heads for the past month, but today i noticed that part of the coral is hanging down (panic stations).
after doing some searches found that it is/ could be reproducing :cool:

apparently it falls away on to the rock where it sticks and hey presto a new colony.
Anyone else had this sort of thing happen.

Just had one fall off a couple of days ago, will have to fish it out later if I remember & stick it to a piece of rock. It happens now & then & saves snapping heads off for fragging.
