What corals to keep?

I’m looking to start keeping coral soon but I’m not looking to get new lights yet. I’ve got 2 aqua one luminaries both with 24W x 2 lights (so 24W x 4 in all). Obviously I know I can’t keep SPSs but that’s a step to far for me with only 1 years fishkeeping experience.

So, what coral groups am I ok with, with the lighting I have?

Who says you can't keep sps?
Firstly what size is your tank as depth has a large part to play, buy corals that have been kept under t5's at the lfs and you stand a chance.
Ok you can't keep realy light loving sps but some of the hardier ones will be ok under your lighting provided their on top of the rockwork.
LPS should be ok mid to high level and softies would be ok anywhere.

The depth is either 40 or 45 cm, can’t remember off the top of my head. The lights are PR reflector lights, so the reflectors help right?

I’ve just heard so many times on forums, people saying not to keep SPSs under anything less that T5s. So at the top of my tank, you think I’ll be ok with some of the less demanding SPSs? Well that’s good news. I bought some seios and got the flow going at 40x as to hopefully progress to SPSs someday. Looks like that could be sooner than expected.
