Absolutely stunning Ron, I was enthralled by that. Just wish I could see the high res version instead of the internet version!
The fish look very much at home in there, loved all the different Anthias...

Thanks for sharing
:D

Its a great tank!

The lighting seems a little strange, to the left it looks like very purple 20k? bulbs and on the right it looks like 10k

Hi all,

Thanks for the positive replays.

The vid overall quality is original much better, but the file actually is large already, so,....:o I,ll try a sharper version this weekend.

The first minute is more blue lighting than the rest due to the camera adjusting the white balance.

Simon, in the coming months I hope to visit England again for some nice footage. A year ago I was visiting Jonock/Nick. The tank was nice then, but now (totm november here) its absolute stunning. Lots of great systems you have in the UK! Hope to see some of them soon.

Regards,

Ron.

Hi,

The owner told me that the total cost each year is around Euro 35.000,-
Counting energy, changing bulbs, salt, trace elements and so on.

But, honest,..its a magnificient aquarium. Many public aquaria can take this as a good example.

When you planning a visit to Holland, you must see this beauty.:)

Regards,

Ron.

be careful what you say Ron, we can organise a road trip in less than 5 minutes. i doubt the owner would appreciate a coach full turning up saying "ron sent us" :D :D

Dunno about you guys but I'm free tomorrow! Tickets provisionally booked for Stanstead to Rotterdam and it's a short drive at the other end!

This is one tank that I'd have no problem in making an effort to visit!

Hi Scoop,

I know the owner very well and I,m sure that a group of people are very welcome to see the aquarium and technics. :)

A few months ago there are about 40 people there from a dutch forum and aquarium society. So, that said,.....:p

Ron.
